Drop Ship Information–What People are Searching for . . .
I was doing SEO analysis for this site and happened to turn up information on some of the most frequently hit sites for drop shipping and drop ship product supply information. I am not recommending the sites I’m going to list; I’m providing the list because you, as do I, may find the information informative:
Dropshipdirect.com
According to the DSDI About Us page,
“DropshipDirect.com (DSDIā¢) is a wholesale supply chain distribution company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Prodwise, Inc. Our range of services include: international manufacturer/vendor product distribution, wholesale dropship fulfillment, third party logistics (3PL), and e-commerce market integration services. Based in the Pacific Northwest, DSDI INC is a for-profit corporation representing products sourced from five continents.”
Chrismalta.com
Father of World Wide Brands. According to the Who is Chris? page,
“Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board of Worldwide Brands. Inc. I started out online in 1993, selling info products on the old Newsgroups using Prodigy. In about ’98, I started a couple of online stores with $500. I got scammed, and scammed, and scammed while looking for real wholesalers of products to sell.”
Dropshipdesign.com
Well-known drop ship aggregator offering a variety of ecommerce store and inventory options. Not a wholesaler, but provides a solution to instant store and inventory set-up.
Dropshipsites.com
Offers information on drop shipping and product supply. However, all information links to affiliate landing pages. The site is essentially an advertising portal designed to look like a news and information site. You may find some useful information, but you probably won’t find direct leads to legitimate wholesalers and drop shippers.
Gogodropship.com
Gogo is directory of wholesale and dropship suppliers offering 3 membership levels. Gogo itself does not appear to supply products but only serve as a directory. In that respect it is similar to other membership sites such as Salehoo.
Shopster.com
According to Shopster, “At Shopster . . . . We offer an end-to-end solution for the online entrepreneur that starts with sourcing products, includes tools to make sales, and ends with our customers making money. ” Shopster comes with a good reputation, and for a monthly fee handles all of the back end aspects to your business leaving marketing and promotion up to you.
Salehoo.com
Also a wholesale and drop ship supply source membership site. Salehoo offers supplier contact information, both staff and member reviews of suppliers, membership forum, and ecommerce and eBay education. I have been a member for several years and find it helpful.
Productsourcing.com
Offers direct product ordering. Not a wholesaler or drop shipper itself but allows the ordering of products from the suppliers. Do not expect to get wholesale prices. Productsourcing.com is a sort of portal to product access.
Skipmcgrath.com
Skip Mcgrath probably knows just about everything there is to know about eBay and product sourcing. Skip characterizes his sites as an “EBay seller’s resource site . . . . The oldest and largest site serving eBay sellers since 1999.” Probably the best eBay information site on the Internet. Those are my words. I know I said I would recommed sites, but I can’t help myself with this one.
Megagoods.com
Well reputed drop ship aggregator offering ecommerce store and inventory solutions. Not a true wholesaler but a legitimate drop ship ecommerce option.
There you have it. Although I may personally like some of the sites mentioned above, my listing them is not meant to stand as a recommendation. The only site I have a vested interest in is Salehoo because I am a member and I also promote Salehoo as an affiliate.
