Is Salehoo Real?
Good question. Many people want to know if Salehoo is legitimate or if it is a scam. If you are seeking a way to get into ecommerce selling physical products from an online store, but you don’t know what you want to sell or the first thing about where to find stuff to sell, the answer may be important.
To begin with, what in the name of lawyers, guns, and money is Salehoo?! In a nutshell, Salehoo is a membership offering a sort of online rolodex with contact information for a vast number of different kinds of product distributors. The Salehoo directory contains the names and descriptions of wholesalers, dropshippers, liquidation-closeout specialists, factory distributors, and other miscellaneous discount product distributors. The directory lists suppliers serving a wide range of product categories and in total, the directory offers potential access to well over a thousand product distributors and many thousands of products. The Salehoo membership also makes available basic training material to help those starting out from scratch and has a forum in which members share information about product sources.
But is Salehoo real? Well, I am a member and have been for a while, now, and have found it to be exactly as I’ve stated above. Personally, I have found that Salehoo lives up to its sales page, so in that sense it is “real.” It is important to understand that Salehoo is not a system for making money or getting rich quick. Salehoo is really just a website and forum with a gigantic list of product suppliers and is intended to be used as a resource by those in the business of retailing physical products. I have personally found it to be a helpful product research tool and source of ideas, information, and answers to dropship and wholesale questions.
Salehoo is a paid memberhip, and at this writing the cost is a one time fee of $67. Does Salehoo provide a real service for $67? In my experience and opinion, yes. Without a doubt. Do you absolutely need Salehoo or any other online wholesale product directory? Probably not. Only you can decide if this might be a reasonable investment given your plans and needs at the time.
