Salehoo Scam Natter Won’t Die

Is Salehoo a scam? That question seems to be a thorn in the side of just about anyone trying to run a home business that sells mass market consumer goods. The Salehoo scam issue really has nothing to do with whether or not is online, offline, eBay, Craigslist, or oriented towards flea markets and craft fares.

However, the possibility of making quick money through dropshipping items provided by true wholesalers has taken on a sort of like of its own. I think just about anyone who is in business and making any income at all knows that dropshipping is not even remotely connected to making quick money or any sort of get-rich-quick schemes. I think more true to the point is that the people getting rich quick are the same people promoting dropship wholesaling as a get-rich gimmick.

I think some of the confusion surrounding Salehoo has to do with the fever level interest in eBay and high pressure sales strategies by the get-rich-quick Internet marketing crowd. This fever exploits the dream of financial independence and personal freedom that many of us nurture in the hope low cost, debt free, online (or off) home-based self employment.

The Salehoo scam question enters because many want to know the profitability of salehoo product sourcing. Now, having said this, you need to be fully aware that Salehoo itself is not a product supplier, instead it is a supplier of product supplier contact information. That is, Salehoo provides a list of businesses who are themselves product suppliers.

Salehoo is one of the high visibility, online wholesale directories. It is a membership site and includes a forum and some other features such as eBay training, instruction on how and what to sell when dealing with product suppliers, and also some market research tools. Even though the sales page now advertises over 8000 suppliers listed, the strong point of the membership is the forum. I’m giving you my opinion as member. One thing I’ll tell you is that members speak their minds. If they want something changed on the forum, they speak up. If you have a question, the members will come to your assistance.

Personally, I think Salehoo is particularly good for networking with other buyers and sellers and getting a “feel” for a market. Just a few cents worth of my thoughts. Follow these links for a free newsletter or take a free video tour! right here.
