Drop Ship, Light Bulk, Import and Liquidation Wholesale from Where?

Drop Ship, Wholesale, Import, Liquidation Suppliers and Instant Purchases of Millions of Wholesale Products not to mention drop ship sources For home business and drop ship wholesale products for ebay sellers. Let’s not forget light bulk wholesalers, a phrase cleverly coined by Chris Malta to describe wholesalers who will sell in lots of $500 or less. Oh, by the way, that describes just about any true wholesaler. And then there are the liquidation and import wholesalers.

Sound good?

Perhaps too good?

Wow! Where do I find such a wholesale product directory, or source, or mentor, or some poor sap of a guru who is going to let me in on the secret?

Well, I don’t want to say, “if it sounds to good to be true, probably isn’t.” But, I bet if you don’t know what you want to sell exactly, if you aren’t already selling, and if this is all somehwat still vague, I bet this all sounds really tempting. I mean, that is one tempting first paragraph. Even I’m tempted! And who am I to say that you shouldn’t go for it? Such directory resources are valuable research aids, and if you are not willing to spend even a small amount of cash on research into your business, who do you think you are anyway?

However, let’s say hypothetically that you already know you want to sell a certain model of baseball bat and have already done the market research to know that this item can sell, and you know who is going to design and program your site, why not just find out who the manufacturer is, write them a letter or call them up and find out if you can buy directly from them or, if not, who their distributors are? Once you know who the distributor is, you can work out the details directly with them. This scenario assumes that you have a solid business plan in place and are well into the taking-action phase of things.

At this point, I’m going to throw out some names. Here we go: dropshipdesign.com, doba.com, simplx.com, megagoods.com. There is also another that you can find on Clickbank; however, I can’t recall the name. It is run by Nick with a Spanish last name, I think. Brain flash–I think it’s dropshipping wholesalers. For the sake of an example, check it out, but you may want to hold on to your money. These sites all offer to dropship thousands of consumer goods, offer you a data feed that you can upload to your own site, and even offer an option that provides you a site pre-loaded with their data feed. However, you will probably never be able to make a cent on eBay simply because no matter how low the prices, when you do the math, you can’t make a profit. Not with this sort of dropshipping site. Not on eBay. Now, if you put together another business model, you might do very well. Personally, the way I would do this would be to take the data feed and upload it to a site of my own design–and I’d hire a pro to design it–I’d host it on separate hosting, and I’d promote it locally. I’d also be sure to identify the products that I stand a chance of winning on. Get an angle, you know, Bucktooth Charley’s Bucktooth Bargains, or something like that (but hopefully really different) that you can export once you take off locally.

I see I’m getting away from the subject, which is dropship, wholesale, import, and liquidation suppliers. Well, the same thing applies.

By the way, you want the name of a real dropshipper? WYNIT. A major consumer electronics wholesaler and dropshipper. You’ll have a hard time finding them on the Internet unless you look specifically for them. They don’t charge you dropship fees or membership fees or waste their time with any of that nonsense. They are the real thing and they expect you to be also. There are no minimum fees or minimum orders, though you are going to get the best price by working out a bulk price with your sales rep. Per item dropship orders will cost a bit more only because the ordering is on a per item basis.

If you want to take the time to dig into what I think is a solid wholesale forum and directory resource, there is Salehoo. Salehoo appeals to me because I like the information megawattage. You can take a video tour by clicking here.
