Dropship Product Distributors–EBay Seller Tips
I fear for those caught up in the eBay feeding frenzy. If you have found this post because you are trying to sell on eBay or you want product sources to dropship products on eBay, some of the things I have to say may be of interest.
I will try to mention a number of dropshipping sources, though most of these product suppliers may be too expensive for you to make a profit on eBay. EBay is simply too expensive! Some of the eBay fees you encounter are the listing fees, the final value fee, the fees for extras to make your auction stand out, the monthly cost of an eBay store (if you want an store), the cost of the software needed to manage a large eBay business. Unless you are just a casual seller, it really takes some thought and planning to determine whether or not eBay is worth it.
I’m not trying to convince you not to sell on eBay, but eBay and dropshipping so often used in the same context that you might think the two are inseparable. You might make the mistake of thinking that dropshipping on eBay is good business. Dropshipping can be successful for you but not in the way you think. And probably not on eBay because of the costs. EBay can be a great selling environment, but it is not a good environment for all products. Probably the most difficult products to sell on eBay would be popular, mass produced consumer items such as consumer electronics. I’m not saying don’t try it, just be aware of what you are jumping into.
Anyway, you are here because you want some dropship product supplier tips. First, I do not endorse any of the sites I’m going to mention. They are generally well regarded as honest businesses and I believe the word is that they have pretty good customer service. Your best shot at profitting is to sell their products on your own website, but that means you really have to promote it and get the word out.
