Make $1000s and $1000s With Wholesale DVDs?

Yes, of course. You can make $1000s with wholesale dvds and other wholesale products. However, it is unlikely that you will go from 0 to 1000s in 4 seconds. You might, if you take the time to lay out a carefully crafted business plan and do the requisite testing before launching your business. Then, you might hit the ground with the wheels burning rubber. However, the road to $1000s is usually started with $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 until you reach the $1000s and $1000s zone.
So, how do you make that first $5? It is pretty easy. The hardest part is taking the few action steps necessary to make the “magic” happen. I would actually suggest you do a bit of research to find a few products that are in demand and affordable–for both you to start with and for the market you are targetting. Thus, for example, I would not recommend starting out with iPhones–too expensive, too competitive.
If you’ve already decided that you plan to make money selling deeply discounted dvds, you will need suppliers. In my opinion, there is no better list of dvd suppliers–true wholesalers as well as liquidators, close-out sources, studio production offices, and more–then the Jillian Entertainment wholesale dvd list. I personally own and use this list. It is exhaustive and solid, and will tell you all of the major players in wholesale dvd supply.
If you are not decided on what product to try selling, then again, first do the research to find a few products that are in demand and that will make you money. In my opinion, you do not need 1000s and 1000s of wholesale product in order to make money. You need at least one, and possibly a few. However, the Salehoo wholesale directory does, in fact, provide you with 1000s of products and 1000s of brands. It is inexpensive and provides a lifetime supply of wholesale sources. I would not necessarily recommend it for dvd sources, though I have found some. However, I do not believe it lists the major players for the dvd supply in the U.S.
Once you have your product, here are a few ideas. Remember, we are starting off small. We want to make that first $5 or $10. Every time you make a sale, collect an email address and permission to alert the customer to future product sales.
- List a simple auction on eBay and run it for 24 to 36 hours.
- Make a list of friends who want to buy your product and do the purchasing for them.
- Sell your product on Craigslist and on other sites similar to Craigslist, such as backpage.com.
- Put an ad in local classifieds and free classifieds.
- Sell your product at a local flea market.
- Run a garage sale featuring your product.
These are just a few ideas to help you make that first $5 or $10, and possibly even much more.
