Salehoo Forum–Scam or No Scam?

Is the Salehoo forum a scam . . . ?

People want to know.

Can you make money using Salehoo? People are asking. People just like you and me.

Just what is Salehoo–is it a dropshipping service? Is it a forum? Is it a wholesale directory?

The Salehoo wholesale directory claims to make available a list of over one thousand product suppliers with access to roughly 10,000 products. If you count the inventory of some of the mega dropshippers on the list, then the product range could be significantly well over 10,000. A study of the Salehoo data base finds that the claim is correct. There really are over one thousand suppliers listed, and the number of products available through the product distributors number well into the thousands.

It is important to understand that Salehoo is not a wholesaler. It is not a dropship wholesale distributor. It is not a product distributor of any kind. It is a service that provides the contact information to a wide variety of different kinds of product distributors. Salehoos is also a forum-based community of both buyers and sellers. Mostly buyers, but Salehoo does allow registered sellers to make offers to the membership. In my opinion, the forum is the heart of Salehoo and its most important feature and benefit.

Now, I have been hearing accusations that the Salehoo directory is a scam. So, is Salehoo a Scam?

In my opinion, no. I won’t try to hide the fact that I’m biased. This is not an impartial review. And if you take a few moments to look over this site you will see that I, too, am a member of the Salehoo directory. It appears that the most rabid source of scam accusation comes from someone named Terry Gibbs. Mr. Gibbs seems to have a long standing grudge against Salehoo stemming from a personal argument with certain members of the original investment group who started Salehoo. Most other sources claiming that Salehoo is a scam seem to come from people who joined not understanding what Salehoo is. Some have thought that it is a product supplier, or that it is somehow responsible for the sourcing and delivery of products found through the contacts in the list of product suppliers. This is a profound misunderstanding, and when it occurs, does sometimes lead to accusations of fraud.

Just like all other members, I am a paid member of Salehoo. The reason I talk about Salehoo is because I personally think it is a sound product. To my knowledge, I have never been cheated or ripped off in any way, and I am satisfied that it lives up to its promise. Further, I have found legitimate product sourcing leads for products I’m interested in selling. I also get what I consider to be valuable feedback and ideas from the forum. Now, just speaking for myself, I don’t need thousands of products, but having access to a database with information on thousands of products and well over one thousand suppliers is great for research! Salehoo is an information resource. And it is important to be aware that it is not a make-money-quick or get-rich-now system. To the best of knowledge, Salehoo does not promote itself as such.

Even better, it is a fraction of the price of World Wide Brands, also reputed to be a very good product but which requires $250 to $300 up front. For a relatively low, one time price of $67, Salehoo offers you access to thousands of products and a vast number of suppliers. If you don’t or can’t find what you want through the directory listings themselves, you can always ask for help in the forum. In my opinion, the forum is Salehoo’s strongest point as the membership participates actively, and you can be sure to get a reply to almost any question. It is a source of ideas, resources–an secrets, that may not be directly listed in the directory.

It is important to note that no directory can be expected to list every source under the sun. No single directory alone can or will make you rich. Getting rich is your job, your responsibility, your hard work and effort. While home business is, or can be, fun, depending on your temperment, making it work is up to you. Do not buy into Internet marketing, get-rich-quick crap. Remember, 99% of Internet marketing is crap and only intended to make money off of your misconceptions.

If you sign up for the Salehoo forum and membership and expect money to mysteriously appear in your pockets, you will be sorely disappointed. If you sign up expecting a good wholesale resource tool, then you are likely to be satisfied. And regardless, Salehoo is sold on Clickbank and you have 60 days to try it and refund. Let me repeat, if you purchase the product and find it unsatisfactory, all you have to do is contact Clickbank–the place you purchased it from– and ask for a refund. No questions asked. That doesn’t sound like a scam to me. 60 day, 100% refund, no questions asked guarantee.

Home business, online or off, requires persistence and dedication. It requires the willingness to learn just what a business is and what it requires to be successful. Buying cheap and selling dear is one of the easier ways to line your pockets with a bit of spare cash. Salehoo is a resource, nothing more nothing less. If you try it and don’t like it, ask Clickbank for your money back. If you are interested, just a little bit curious, feel free to:

Is salehoo a scam, or not a scam but just a nothing site, that’s been my question. I’ve gone back and forth from salehoo to other online directories always wondering, is this a scam? About a week ago, I signed up. I’d have to say it is not a scam but what I really like is the forum. The directory is fine, lots of suppliers, but for me the forum is where the money is. This is probably not for everybody. but it works for me.

I have to agree that Salehoo not going to be for everyone. Individual needs are so varied that I don’t think any single source can be a one size fits all solution. As for the Salehoo scam questions, I think some people think Salehoo is a scam because of misunderstanding. A lot of people think that Salehoo is a product supplier when in fact it has nothing to do product supply. Even though Salehoo can provide contact information, you still have to do the work of selling the products.

Whether or not Salehoo is a scam seems to be bugging almost anyone trying figure out how to source products. To me, I think the crowd who promotes make money quick programs has caused a lot of confusion about wholesale products and drop ship companies. One of the by products is the confusion over Salehoo and if it’s a scam or not. Competition and jealously probably play a big part. That’s my guess anyway.

I joined Salehoo a while ago, and its been helpful It does have a pretty good forum and a huge list of product suppliers. I don’t know if there are 8000 or not, but there are a lot. There are real wholesale people and dropship businessess. A lot of the businesses listed are discount retail companies, but you can find factory distributors and light bulk product distributors. I don’t know what people really mean when they say “scam.” It seems everyone has their own definition. I’m sure Salehoo doesn’t work for everyone and probably if your already an insider it might not serve any purpose. But is salehoo a scam? Myself, I haven’t seen any evidence.

Anyway, these are just my thoughts. Everyone is responsible for their own due diligence to make sure you know what your buying. At least with Salehoo you have about 2 months to get a refund from clickbank if you don’t like it or think its a scam. Just my 2 cents.

I cant honestly say that salehoo may not be the heaven for wholesalers seekers, but it can drmaticaly help looking more afficiently products in your niche,( maybe your niche is not good)it will defintley save you alot of time, and you may find stuff that you never thought about selling.

salehoo is such great. yes at first you would think its like the other things we found online that is a scam. But generally it brought up to many that salehoo is a no scam and has been doing great to a lot of people including me.

Salehoo is no scam people it is not the best but for the money it is ok. I preferably use http://www.thepowersellersunion.com
but Salehoo is good too.

Can’t believe all the noise over whether or not salehoo is a scam. First of all, who cares? But, obviously, a lot of people do. I signed up for salehoo a couple years ago and they were fine. No big deal no scam. I’ve been over to the salehoosucks.com site and honestly, the picture they give doesn’t represent my experience. Is salehoo for you? Who knows. I don’t care. It’s only $67 which is pocket change. If your stuck trying to make up your mind then sign up and if you don’t like it ask clickbank for your money back. Stop whining.

Eddie,

Thank you for your comment. However, I just checked your site and found no review, in-depth or otherwise, of Salehoo or any other site. It looks to me as if you’ve just put your site up and more power to you, but you may be putting the cart before the horse, here.

Hi Eddie I thought that was an excellent review of Salehoo and it made sense. Great Job!

I don’t think people will ever stop arguing about whether or not salehoo is a scam. I ran across a article that talks about the salehoo scam question.

Thank you for your comment. The Salehoo moderators delete affiliate links from posts. However, the Salehoo staff do not, as far as I can tell, sell products to the members. In fact, members post product sources all the time. Part of the forum is devoted to new product sources. I have heard this allegation before, but it simply does not make sense, and certainly does not correspond to my experience with Salehoo.

I’ve been a member for a couple of years, and although I will step up and admit that Salehoo is not perfect, to my knowledge, the Salehoo staff simply do not sell to the membership. As a matter of fact, the Salehoo staff themselves will step up and freely admit that Salehoo is not the only game in town.

If you’ll allow me to reveal a wholesale dropship secret, one of the best ways to begin a supplier search is to know exactly what products you want to sell. If you can answer that question with 100% certaintly, then finding a supplier will not be that difficult.
