Spending Money on Wholesale Directories and EBay Products Suppliers

I think it is time to revisit topic of wholesale directories and drop ship wholesale eBay products suppliers. This is an overhyped field of conversation because of the amounts of money being made selling information on how to make a killing selling on eBay or how to make a killing finding the right wholesale products sources.
Finding great products to sell online and finding great products suppliers does not in itself guarantee business success. Joining a wholesale directory such as Salehoo or World Wide Brands also does not in itself guarantee business success. Market research, finding products and product suppliers are only a fraction of your business. Running a small, one person business does not necessarily have to be complicated, but my point is that you have to give thought to the whole process rather than just one or two pieces of the process.
I recently had someone call into question my Salehoo membership and my integrity advertising Salehoo on this site. The fact is, I advertise Salehoo because I am a satisfied member. However, I would not want to suggest that Salehoo is for everone. Again, I personally find the directory, and especially the forum, helpful and interesting. But the world of product sourcing and supply is simply to big to be contained in one single membership or any single directory of any sort. Because Salehoo is sold through Clickbank, it is very easy to refund within the eight week trial period. But, as with all the products I advertise and otherwise suggest on this site, I advise careful reading of the sales page and careful consideration of the purchase to minimize the need for refunding.
I want to remind everyone that products such as Salehoo are not get-rich-quick schemes. That is true for all products advertised here. All are tools, and all require action and purpose on your part–the buyer–to be of use.
