Semi Dirty Secrets of Dropshipping
How and where to find wholesale product distributors, dropship and liquidation-closeout product distributors, manufacturers, and general distributors of discounted goods is a subject of some concern among those wanting to run a small. low cost business from home.
There are vast numbers of resources worldwide and tackling them all is daunting, if not impossible task. Fortunately for you, you don’t need to. You can find many wholesale drop ship supply sources by searching either the business section of a good library or simply doing an Internet search.
There are a a few good free directory sites, such as:
That, by the way, is a hot tip. That’s about as good as it gets for free sites.
There are a few other free sites that are pretty good, and I’m sorry, I’ll have to publish the links later because I simply don’t recall off hand. If you don’t know about Wholesale Central already, give it a look. Remember, it is ultimately up to you to verify that any business you use is legitimate.
Personally, I like and use Salehoo. Salehoo is a directory of wholesale, dropship, liquidation and closeout, and manufacturer resources. Salehoo also offers an active forum where you can network. You can take a Salehoo video tour by following the link. We think this is a legitimate wholesale directory, and as I said, I’m a member, and some of my wholesale account are with companies I’ve found through Salehoo. There is some talk about Salehoo being a scam, but we think the scam talk is unjustified.
Salehoo offers some other benefits that free sites don’t, such as member reviews of the sources listed.
