The Three Biggest Dropship Companies
Many people want to know who the three biggest drop ship companies are. When I see a question like this, I have to wonder whether or not the person asking really understands the question or has any idea how dropshipping works. Sorry, I don’t want to be hard on you. After all, we all start somewhere. It is true, there is an intense interest about who the “legitimate” drop ship companies are. But for what product line? So, you are seeking the major dropship companies . . .
for what products?
This question is really impossible to answer without knowing what products you are seeking. there isn’t just one set of companies who handle all products. If you are seeking the major wholesale companies for DVDs, you will find that there are three major players, but these are not the same companies handling consumer electronics or clothing or healthcare products.
There are companies that are dropship aggregators. That means that they retail companies who either stock huge inventories of many different products or serve as a sort of broker for many different wholesale distributors. These companies often charge a membership fee or some other kind of recurring fee and in return provide you with a pre-loaded website or a data feed that you install on your own site. Some of these sorts of sites have an electronic interface between your site and their inventory so that when a sale is made, money is credited to you and the products shpped to your customer under your business name. Examples of such dropship aggregators would be dropshipdesign.com, doba.com, megagoods.com, and bnfusa.com. It is important to understand that these sorts of drop ship companies are retailers selling goods at steep discount. Generally speaking, they are not true wholesalers.
Although there are a few large wholesale distributors who may advertise a dropship service, generally speaking, dropshipping is arranged by an agreement between you and a specific wholesaler serving the product line you are selling as a retailer. I think you may have missed the point of the post. The author actually gives 4 major players in the dropship aggregator field. Another major dropshipper would be petra. However, check the post out again. The three major players for what product? There could be many answers depending on the product line.
i have webstore and thats my problem my dropshippers are not selling at competitive prices or are always out of stock on items i need wholesale dropshippers with merchandise and competive prices i sell everything on my site mobile audio video home goods consumer electronics computing components gaming consoles and games a little bit of everything im ready to clear my pages and start fresh with new products any good supplies u may know of would be helpfull thanks

Hi. Thank you for your comment. That’s one of the big problems running an ecommerce business selling electronics and a sticky area in general when trying to figure out product sourcing for home business. Not only is electronics a highly competitive area, but the very nature of drop shipping cuts your margin of profit. You might try using DBL and/or WYNIT for electronics. They are two of the biggest true wholesalers of electronic items who also offer drop shipping, and will probably never be out of stock. They also often have sales on items where they steeply discount the normal single-item wholesale price. By the way, if you are using retail drop shippers and not drop shippers who are true wholesalers, you will also lose on the profit margin. Check out Inventory Source for true wholesalers who do drop shipping. Inventory Source wants to sell you web design and development, but you don’t need to do that to make use of the merchants who work with them. Petra Electronics is another wholesaler who specializes in drop shipping. Last, identify your niche and demographics and advertise locally. Make your shop the go-to place. Best of luck to you!
